När allting börjar värmas upp på den Skånska myllan och påsken gör sitt inträde går också den välrenommerade KONSTRUNDAN av stapeln och det är DÅ som du hittar mig och min konst på två olika ställen i Skåne.
Har du aldrig mött mig eller sett min konst finns det nu ett tillfälle att göra en närmare bekantskap och få en upplevelse som kan ge mer framöver, för det stannar ju inte vid detta tillfället.

Vad är egentligen en KONSTRUNDA då?
Det är som ett stort öppet hus, där konstnärer och kreatörer öppnar upp sina ateljéer och gallerier för besökare för att uppleva konst på ett opretentiöst sätt och inom olika grenar. 
Skåne har attraherat konstnärer för sitt ljus, sina färgskalor och den kuperade vackra miljön sedan 1600-talet.
Att få uppleva en sådan "buzz" där aktiviteten är hög och möjligheten till många intryck blir slutligen till en riktig fest. Att få sätta sig i bilen med sina vänner och åka runt i Skåne och göra besök för intressanta konstuttryck och avsluta med en go fika eller middag kan väl inte bli bättre?

Another year has gone by and whatever anyone of us has gone through it for sure has challenged many of us. If you are amongst those that has endured hardship during this year, I can say that you need a good rest and luxury time.
 
Many of my friends talk about how they feel run down and weary without any reason for it to be so. I think that we all can relate since mankind is subjected to something that we never have been witnessing before.
How do we enter another year of uncertainty? I guess the most supportive answer is to decide how you approach whatever comes at you. Make sure you choose wisely to what you are listening to, who accompanying you on your journey of life. Pay attention to whom you are at friendship with and make sure that they have a positive outlook on life, because it is all about energies that will determine how you end up feeling.

ACTIVATING MY CHEMICALS

My New Year’s resolution this year is all about ACTIVATING MY CHEMICALS and being CREATIVE.
If you have knowledge about your chemicals it is easier to forging the path ahead, so let me contribute by giving you the scope of how you can active yours:
 
DOPAMINE ~ the reward chemical

• Complete a task
  
• Doing self care activities
  
• Eating some food
• Celebrating your little wins
  

 
OXYTOCIN ~ the love hormones

• Playing with dog/cat
• Playing with a baby
• Holding hands
• Hugging someone
• Giving someone else a compliment

 
SEROTONIN ~ the mood stabilizer

• Meditating
• Running
  
• Be in the sun
• Walk in nature
• Swimming

 
ENDORPHIN ~ the pain relief

• Laughing exercises
• Essential Oils
• Eating dark chocolate
  
• Running

 
 
You could design a program that makes sure that you activate all of these chemicals every day and soon you will find yourself at a much better space than before. Most of all be kind and loving to yourself with much patience since everything that we think we have to achieve already is ~ you are here…………..nothing else needs to happen!

BEGINNING OF A NEW YEAR!
It has started, our new year of perhaps expectations and planning. I have however made a pause to reconcile and adjust to what lies ahead.

It could had looked different if I had jump started this year with a head full of just to do’s and accomplishments, but I decided to reverse it all to benefit me later.

I have spent some time after the Bells rang, wishing us a great New Year, with sorting out, cleaning stuff and changing what is not beneficial anymore.
To begin with a clean slate is often a good way to start something, dishing out what is not compatible anymore and looking for things that will support me in my new endeavor, so I did!

Are you on the path too? Have you done your cleaning out before committing to something new?
Well, for this part of the journey to become more free to create there are some good stuff that can take you further by doing them before you prepare for your journey.

5 TIPS TO MAKE YOUR NEW YEAR START OUT FRESH.

❤︎    CLOSE ENVIRONMENT
Start by looking at your close environment and decide what is distracting you and feels like it creates an obstacle from your creative process. Decide if you still need to have it around you and if it fits where you are at the moment. If it doesn’t fit your expression and the way you feel just get rid of it!

❤︎   SOCIAL MEDIA
Making a stretch out of Social Media is to get focused. For this to work you need to let go of all those distractive Apps that you don’t use anymore. I have downloaded Apps that for some reason didn’t hit the ground with me and so it sits there whenever I open the phone and TAKES UP SPACE. Let’s be real – it is not fun to have your screen full of useless Apps that distracts you from where you want to be in 6 months or so. Be ruthless, be hard, be truthful. The Apps that are wasting your time, annoying you, makes you upset, doesn’t work, crashes – ditch them right away and save the ones that makes you have success in whatever you are doing, and off course saves you time doing what you are doing.

❤︎    DESKTOP
If you are like me VISUAL, you know the languages of images and drawings and how it works out so well for you to work and be creative. Well the tendencies are to gather a lot of them for future work or inspiration. They tend to get outdated, a memory of the past, a good to have image when you are going to make xxxxxx. Can you hear this? It is all about the past and it will soon trap you not to make a leap into the present with what can be considered NEW, clean, newborn etc. Set aside time to clean your desktop from ALL your saved projects and images and begin anew.
I made this process fun by choosing a new DESKTOP image as a sign and inspiration that I have started clean and new for this year, and by the way I chose some of my own images taken a winters day with FROZEN CRYSTALS everywhere a truly beautiful day.

❤︎    IMAGES
Well that is a great subject. If you are like me then you have your phone loaded with images from all kinds of places, projects, meetings beautiful things that you saw etc.
It goes like this, you take a picture CLICK and save it on your phone, then you take another picture CLICK and after some time you could have ended up with thousands of images.
Tell me honestly, how often do you scroll and look through all of those images? Nae – didn’t think so, but they also take up space in your phones MEMORY. Did you hear that? MEMORY. This is something that you don’t want to weight you down. For this to work you can make a security copy on your computer for later use and processing. After that is done you can now go into your phone and delete all the images that are not required anymore. Just by doing this you have created more space for being creative, perhaps shoot a new video, take a new picture etc. And not the least it feels good not to be cluttered with old images

❤︎    STUDIO SPACE
After some great projects last year and sales until the very end, the time for Christmas and New Year with family and friends nocked on the door. A lot of things piled up in the studio and the time for rest was laid upon its energies. Can you remember how it feels when the studio has been on its own for some time? An empty and dull feeling subsides in it and the moment you enter it really speaks out lout TAKE CARE OF ME!
I think you can guess what I’m going to say……..Just CLEAN out the studio! Throw away rubbish, pull out your cleaning gears and do the job and when it’s done make sure to lighten a incense to clear the energies in its entirety.
Now you can start to work again, with new and fresh eyes!

There is nothing better than releasing your new born babies to be seen by the world! Theres actually nothing like it, because, as any other artist will tell you, it is a release from the hours that has stand between you and the outer world since you first began your project. I made a very short video during this event to give you a glimpse of what it looked like.

This artwork is called CONNECTED ~ INTERSTELLAR and it is all about being connected to one and another, as a matter of fact it translates to CONNECTED ~ BETWEEN THE STARS.
As of this time we could benefit enormous by being aware that we can seem to be divided but at truth we are more connected than we know. So this is my contribution, as a start, to this notion.

When you purcase a piece of this artwork you will be connected to 2 or more people that has purchased the neighbour piece. So everyone who collects these pieces are suggested to upload and image of themselves holding the artwork and it's number and give the location where there at on Instagram. This will give each and every collector a face and a greater feeling of being connected through the artwork itself.

Eva-Li Hanssons new small artwork CONNECTED ~ INTERSTELLAR will be released later in december with exclusive opening for VIP buyers.

CONNECTED ~ INTERSTELLAR is comprised of 20 unique small pieces of artwork that stems from a larger piece.

Are you on top of things? Have you started out right since the new year began? Just to make sure you don't beat yourself up, I just wanted to say that my start went off quite slow. However I decided not to get into that nagging feeling of being thrown off the wagon so after a few inspiring youtube videos I took a strong start in the studio and now at this moment finished off two paintings - so actually when it comes to feeling behind I cannot give you any more valuable advice than just get in there, no matter what and just focus yourself on whatever tiny little thing that you can make. Soon the workingspace will feel warm and you will have a result at the end of the session.

The creative life should be fun don't you think? I know that I do and knowing that, and still finding the daily creative work being challenging and finding that we still get stuck from time to time I have started to making my way around that issue.

THIS IS WHY I have started to teach others on how to gently pass through that passage with joy and stillness at the same time. In a process that is both meditative and concrete it will take less than 2 days for the participants on the journey on becoming more free and feeling confident about their own creative expression.

This summer has been filled with artwork, working on my art surrounding myself with colors and thinking about my preparation for my upcoming EXHIBITION "RESURRECTION ∼ finding new pathways. And now, soon very soon it will open its doors for the public for 6 days.
During this time I will make it possible for all of my Swedish followers, buyers, collectors and artloving people to find out more about my artwork. I decided to make this possible since my exhibitions for the past years has been abroad, not making it available for the local Swedes to visit my exhibitions.

During these days it is possible to view my artwork in a very intimate, warm and friendly setting. As I will be present all of the days during the EXHIBITION at GALLERY UPSALA, you can have the time to contemplate and get a deeper sense of my artwork, without any stress which also will allow time for a conversation to spur.

Summer, heat and a lot of work!
Another platform and perhaps more insights into my artistic world and journey, I’m about to open up another channel for my artistic friends and fans to find out more about my artwork and a few nobs and thoughts about what it is to be an artist. 

When the curtains are ready to be open I will let you know, but still I give you a little teaser as you chill at the beach or wherever you are.

A dear and Fantastic moment with Artists from all around the world, we took our inner world to become the voice of something much larger than average. to me the most captivating experience of looking into my fellow Artist world and interpretation.

My new pieces of ARTWORK is all about reflection and at the same time a subtile notion of something greater. I would love to have a conversation about your own reflections and since I will be present during the entire exhibition the ART conversation could spur into something FUN AND EXPRESSIVE!

I'm happy to announce that I will be exhibiting at Carrousel du Louvre, Paris in October 2016. It is truly an honor to be given this opportunity and most of all the beleif and trust in my artwork. We all keep on striving for moments of passion and our true expression (I know I am) so how do we find inspiration to go on even if our circumstances are not that bright at the moment?

I must dedicate a homage to Bill Cunningham this day since he passed away yesterday from a stroke and left a legacy of work for all the rest of us to find out or to devle in for our inspiration. He had a sense of simplicity yet a delicacy in his point of view from the street and his bicycle. I wrote a blogpost about Bill Cunningham and his work because as I watched the documentary made by First Thought Films it became a true inspiration to keep in mind when the wind is blowing and you need to nurture yourself as an artist. If you can, grab a copy of the film or read my blogpost as a friendly -"Thank You" Bill for what you have done for us over the years - I'll bet all of the FASHION HOUSES are in deep sadness today RIP BILL.

When an opportunity rises just go for it! I kept thinking that perhaps a little more time and adjustment to my new studio would have to be considered, but as I kept having opportunities coming in, the working part of being an Artist had to be re-defined and turn around.

Amongst a selected and well considered artwork a pearl came out and was chosen by the curator and gallerist for this exhibition. How grateful I am for her to pick this jewel since it was unexpected that it would turn out to come first.
A blend between just cosmic and heaven and glowing matters will fill my booth space this time and soon I'll let you in on it, just wait a little time and it might surprise even you.

Starting my year on a high note, by getting 1st International Leonardo da Vinci - Universal Artist Prize at Borghese Palace in Florence 2016, my year feels like it has set a course.

It is such an honor to be awarded with a prize like this, because it acknowledges my artistic expression and with it comes a reminder on keeping up, just keeping up working.

I am very proud to award you with the International Prize Leonardo Da Vinci - The Universal Artist.
The Prize is for the Artists that are worth for their artistic merit.
You will be awarded on January 29th, 2016, inside the  Borghese Palace in Florence.

It is one of the most prestigious art awards awarded in the heart of Florence.
Important celebrities from the world of culture will be present at the ceremony and the talented artists will be awarded with an important prize for their careers.
In the January/February  number of the magazine Art International Contemporary, we will realize an introductive piece dedicated to Leonardo Da Vinci’s artistic talent; following to the piece the publication of the selcted artists’ artworks.
In the heart of the ancient Florence, near ‘’Piazza del Duomo’’ and ‘’Piazza della Signoria’’, Borghese Palace is one of the most significative example of  Neo-Classic architecture of the state capital, Florence. Even if its facade is majestic, this palace could seem hidden by the strict road. But once you come in, the beauty and the elegance are dazzling: the large honour salon brings to the Mirrors’ Room, that was the bedroom of Paolina Bonaparte.
The prize is given to those artists who has been chosen by Mr. Russo.

During this week the ART SCENE will be flooded with great art and artists in Miami. Miami art scene will offer great possibilities for anyone that wants to get a closer look at some new inspiring or perhaps already known artist.

Spectrum Miami’s theme for 2015 explores the act of illumination, of creativity emerging from the artist. The abundance of trend-setting artists and galleries exhibiting at Spectrum Miami will reflect this theme, as will the show’s special program, including Art Labs, Art Talks, and the Spotlight Artist and LaunchPad Programs.
A juried contemporary art show featuring publishers, galleries and studios representing talented mid-career and emerging artists.

Winter is here - soon anyway and to be awarded like this, by a publisher,  is like an ICING ON THE CAKE! It is truly inspiring and for sure keeps up the warmth when the winter is about to enter into our houses and lives.
Another thing to hang in the Christmas tree and celebrate before this year is ending.
